Aquaperm is a privately owned agricultural irrigation business now in its 39th year of operation. The company's underlying philosophy is to work with our customers to supply products and services that will stand the test of time. This long term view on relationships necessitates quality in everything we do and supply, but also a focus on economically sound choices for our customers.

Aquaperm is a Specialised Irrigation Company involved in the design, engineering and supply of Pumps, Pipelines and Irrigation systems for export flower growers, agricultural estates, farms, industry and Parks and Gardens. This includes approx. 50% of our business being exported to 16 surrounding countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. The joint experience of the three main stakeholders, Machiel Oberholzer, Tony Williams and Richard Jones spans more than 60 years' service to the South African Irrigation Industry and as Foundation Fellow members of the South African Irrigation Institute is available to all Growers.

Outside of agriculture, projects are undertaken in areas such as Dust Control of Mine Dumps, Quarries, Power Station Ash dumps, Disposal of treated sewage slurries for municipalities, Feedlot farmers, Dairies, Piggeries and to a lesser extent irrigation of school playing fields and the equipping of boreholes.

Another major asset is the high percentage of repeat business from customers who have enjoyed a long and dependable relationship with the owners on a personal level. This stems from a persistent determination to fulfil projects technically correctly with high accuracy in material detail to ensure that the growers achieve consistently high yields and returns on their investment.

Typical of many engineering companies you will find on Aquaperm shelves stock and components for every type of irrigation system including PVC pipe, high and low density poly piping, Plasson, nylon insert full flow and galvanised fittings. Basic systems are catered for with portable quick coupling piping, fittings, dragline hoses and sprinklers for every purpose including the universally known RainBird & Hunter sprinklers, to the fully automatic permanent installations for flowers, orchards and vegetables requiring pumps, controllers, filtration pressure regulating valves fertiliser injection, mini sprays for overhead and surface watering and a wide range of turbulent flow and pressure compensating drip irrigation equipment as demanded by each individual grower and application.

Looking to the future trends in water conservation we are also focussing on the innovative design and supply of systems that will benefit not only the user, but also the environment in terms of rainwater harvesting, solar pumps and control systems as well as efficiency improvement by using technology such as variable speed drives in pump systems.
